Art education is something we take seriously at NFA. It is part of our history: a tradition that continues to have an active role in our evolution as an institution. To us, art is about more than just paper and pencil – it is about movement and history and experience. The Slater Memorial Museum offers students the opportunity to experience centuries of art first-hand. NFA is the only public secondary school in the United States to have such an incredible resource on its campus. Visits to the Slater are incorporated broadly throughout the curriculum. Understanding our tradition allows you to become a knowledgeable and active member of our community.
All of the arts courses at NFA are made even stronger by the opportunities available through Clubs & Activities.
