NFA Alumni Association

Reach Out…Reconnect…Reunite

All Norwich Free Academy graduates are members of the Alumni Association.  Membership is automatic – there are no applications or membership dues.  The NFA Alumni Association continues traditions established nearly 160 years ago by providing opportunities for alumni to remain involved and connected to one another and to NFA.

Your NFA Alumni Association

  • Creates an alumni network through reunions, regional events, activities, publications and social media
  • Honors student achievement through the George Ripley Student Humanitarian Award
  • Recognizes extraordinary commitment to NFA with the Alumni Service Award
  • Gives back to our alma mater and our community

Volunteers

Since December 21, 1876, when five Norwich Free Academy graduates convened the first meeting of the NFA Alumni Association, alumni commitment has made the difference for the next generation of NFA Students.  Today is no different.  New faces, extra hands, and innovative ideas are always welcome.

How to be involved:

  • Serve on your reunion committee
  • Apply for a seat on the Alumni Association Board of Directors or join the Program or Outreach Committee

Since 1856, Norwich Free Academy has adhered to the philosophy of its founder to "return to our hamlets and our homes its priceless freight of youthful minds, enriched by learning, developed by a liberal culture, refined by study of all that is beautiful in nature and art, and prepared for the highest usefulness and the purest happiness"

Founder, John P. Gulliver,
