2012-2013 Summer Reading
The NFA English Department is dedicated to maintaining, and improving reading skills for all students. To this end, summer reading is part of an entire, integrated program. There are no limits to where we can go, who we can meet, or what we can learn when we read. Every book is a journey; every journey is a road to enrichment.
Highlights of this year’s summer reading program include:
- Entering 9th graders, rising lowers and uppers have great latitude to choose a title that is meaningful to them
- Students entering honors and AP courses have specific title requirements
- Seniors need to coordinate summer reading with the senior elective for which they have enrolled
