Chris Guisti has been named the Athletic Director at Norwich Free Academy, effective February 1, 2026. He will succeed Roy Wentworth, who will retire January 31, 2026, after 24 years of service to the Academy, including eight as the AD.
Winter 2025-26 athletic team start dates and times are now available. All student-athletes must register through Arbiter Student Registration. Athletes must be cleared with all necessary paperwork (including a physical) filed before starting an activity. There are no exceptions.
Wes Murphy '09 has been named the girls’ basketball coach at Norwich Free Academy.
Norwich Free Academy (NFA) students must pay for school meals unless they qualify for free or reduced-price meals based on household income. All families are encouraged to complete the online school meals application as soon as possible to determine eligibility. This application must be submitted annually.
Alex Park has been named the girls’ volleyball coach at Norwich Free Academy.
