International Students
We are NFA, the school where bold decisions go hand in hand with responsible stewardship. Where independence is tradition and boundless opportunity paves the way to the future.
Founded in 1854, NFA is a privately endowed, independently governed school, located on a beautifully landscaped 38 acre, nine-building campus, nestled like a small New England College on the east side of the city of Norwich, Connecticut.
100% of NFA’s International Graduates Immediately Enroll In College.
One word to describe my experience at NFA is amazing! I played lacrosse and ran indoor track and was able to meet many new friends. The campus size feels like you are at a university and the school dances are so much fun.

Homestay
International students at NFA live with local host families.
By participating in a Homestay Program, your child will absorb American culture and become involved in a family’s life. A student's English dramatically improves through daily interactions with members of a caring host family.
I have enjoyed my first year at NFA. My favorite classes have been culinary and world history. Joining the many clubs that NFA offers has allowed me to meet many new people.
