We are NFA, the school where bold decisions go hand in hand with responsible stewardship. Where independence is tradition and boundless opportunity paves the way to the future.

Founded in 1854, NFA is a privately endowed, independently governed school,  located on a beautifully landscaped 38 acre, nine-building campus, nestled like a small New England College on the east side of the city of Norwich, Connecticut.

One word to describe my experience at NFA is amazing! I played lacrosse and ran indoor track and was able to meet many new friends. The campus size feels like you are at a university and the school dances are so much fun.

Playing sports helped me find my best friends; there are a wide variety of academic programs that allow you to learn about the most interesting things. Studying at NFA has also helped to boost my confidence in speaking, writing and reading english.
