hank you for visiting the Norwich Free Academy website. NFA is a very special independently governed, endowed academy with a rich history and a long-standing tradition of excellence. NFA’s over 30,000 generous alumni tell us their Academy experience forever changed their lives. As you and your family set out to consider a choice for a four year high school education, as you consider becoming a Wildcat family, know that our passionate commitment and our loyalty and respect, stand ready to transform your lives also. You deserve no less.
NFA graduates are prepared for collegiate study, employment, and, most significantly, for responsible and respectful citizenship. NFA Wildcats leave this beautiful campus as kind, ethical human beings and citizens.
Norwich Free Academy offers a comprehensive educational program unlike any other in the region, private or public. Whether you are a partner district or tuition family, the same rich program of opportunities and choices awaits you. With 260 courses, 31 interscholastic athletic programs, 52 art courses, 8 world languages, 25 college credit bearing courses (17 AP courses), and 70 after school clubs and activities, we view ourselves as the premier high school of choice. Our Slater Museum is only one of two full time, professionally staffed art museums in the country on a high school campus.
I invite you to explore our website, and I encourage you to use NFA as the benchmark by which you measure all other high school choices. You and your child deserve the best, and Norwich Free Academy is the region’s best.
