Swimming & Diving - Girls

In addition to her role as head coach of the girls swimming team, Cory Tubbs assists the boys swim team, which she also used to serve as the head coach. She is a retired physical education and health teacher with degrees from the University of Connecticut and Central Connecticut State University, where she swam for two years. Tubbs is a Red Cross certified lifeguard, water safety instructor and professional rescuer. She’s also a lifeguard instructor, instructor trainer and water safety instructor trainer. She enjoys swimming, watersports and reading.

April Tubbs just completed her first year as an assistant coach. Tubbs, who competed at NFA for four years, also swam competitively for four years at Connecticut College. Tubbs is a certified Red Cross Lifeguard and a professional rescuer and water safety instructor. She studied at the University of Florida and is a certified English teacher in Connecticut for grades 7-12.
