Winter 2024-25 athletic team start dates and times
All student-athletes must register through FamilyID. Athletes must be cleared with all necessary paperwork (including a physical) filed before starting an activity. There are no exceptions.

Coaches cannot accept physical forms. The forms must be given to the school nurse prior to the start of practice. Physicals are good for 13 months.
Boys’ Swimming: The boys’ swim team begins December 5. Further questions can go to Coach Walker Cook at cookw@nfaschool.org.
Fencing: The first session for all interested candidates is December 2 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in Norton Gym. For further information, contact Coach Jason Pryor at pryorj@nfaschool.org.
Wrestling: The first day is December 2 from 2:30 to 5 pm in Norton Gym. Questions can be directed to Coach Steve Nelson at nelsons@nfaschool.org.
Gymnastics: Day one will be December 5 at 3:30 pm at Aries Gym in Franklin. Questions can be directed to Coach Tandi Carignan at carignant@nfaschool.org.
Cheerleading: Tryouts for all interested candidates are November 18, 20, 22 from 4 to 6 pm in Norton Gym. Questions can be directed to Coach Missy Gil at gilm@nfaschool.org.
Indoor Track and Field: Boys’ and Girls’: All interested candidates (including freshmen) should report to Norton Gym at 2:30 pm on December 5. Questions can be directed to Coach Ted Koziol at koziolt@nfaschool.org.
Girls’ Basketball: All interested candidates (including freshmen) should report to Alumni Gym for practice/tryouts on December 2nd. Freshman 2:30 to 4 pm followed by JV/Varsity 4-5:30 pm. Questions can be directed to Coach Courtney Gomez at gomezc@nfaschool.org.
