Project Outreach

Project Outreach (PO) is a student organization that encourages positive community involvement through volunteering and collaboration. PO continuously recruits and places student volunteers in opportunities on campus as well as in the community throughout our surrounding area.

Project Outreach unites students from every grade level, economic, linguistic and ethnic background as they work together for a common goal.
NFA students have the opportunity to request a study hall in their schedule be changed to the Project Outreach room to volunteer their time during the school day. Students in the PO room are the on-call campus helpers.  An in-school PO student can expect to run passes, help in offices, volunteer in the Wildcat Loft, provide campus tours and much more.  It is a fantastic way to increase community involvement during the school day.

Project Outreach connects students with community opportunities.  Students who would like to volunteer are provided with a large variety of volunteer opportunities each school year.  PO collaborates with local schools, non profit organizations, nursing homes, food pantries and more to create strong relationships with our partners.

If you are interested in learning more about linking with PO as a student or parent, or as a community provider, or please reach out to Kate Gada, Project Outreach Coordinator. (860) 425-5643 or gadak@nfaschool.org
