Jessica Vocatura will become the Director of Guidance at Norwich Free Academy, effective July 1. Vocatura, who is currently the department head, will replace Jeanne Elliott, who is retiring at the end of the academic year.
Empty Bowls - to go! fundraising event

The annual NFA Empty Bowls fundraiser is back – with a twist. Postponed earlier because of the school closure, proper steps have been taken to provide delicious soup and a handcrafted bowl to eat it in.

Let me begin by telling you how much I miss seeing you on campus, the daily hustle and bustle, hearing the sound of your voices and your laughter with friends. You see, the magnificent campus grounds and historic buildings don’t make NFA the great school and special place that it is – you do. You are NFA!

Class of 2020 Celebration activities are outlined here. While this outlines the overall plan and activities, please understand that some plans are still being finalized that will require additional communication with you.

With the news from Hartford earlier today that Governor Lamont has cancelled in-person classes for the remainder of this academic year, I want to take a moment and update you on how this directly impacts Norwich Free Academy moving forward.

As you may be aware, Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont today extended the mandatory school closure until Wednesday, May 20, 2020.
