Pomp and Circumstance: Graduation 2020
The Norwich Free Academy Class of 2020 participated in the Academy's 162nd Commencement Exercise Thursday, June 11. Yes, there was a twist this year, as the COVID-19 pandemic led to a virtual 'drive-in' style ceremony at Dodd Stadium. Despite this challenging time, the class of nearly 600 was honored with the richness of the Academy's time-honored traditions, including an address from a member of the 50th anniversary Class of 1970, Admiral Robert J. Papp, Jr., U.S. Coast Guard, Retired.

A Proud Night of NFA Excellence
The annual Class Night and Award Ceremony was held virtually Wednesday, June 10. Normally held in a full Alumni Gym, this year's event was held online, but still honored and recognized the hard work and dedication of our students. Nearly 300 students earned more than 300 awards totaling in excess of $430,000. This incredible amount is made possible by the NFA Foundation, Inc., and generously provided by Norwich Free Academy alumni and friends. The Foundation exists to advance the educational opportunities available at NFA, including the oversight and stewardship of the many scholarship funds that benefit our students.
