From those who help with lodging, transportation, restaurant and food and beverage services, recreation, amusement, and attraction services, to those who help plan vacations and travel, this area offers workers opportunities to manage, market, and operate many related services for guests and travelers locally, nationally, and internationally. Jobs are diverse and range from individual customer service in hotels and restaurants, food service at all levels, sales, gaming, promotion and management of an area or site’s cultural and artistic assets, to sports and recreational activities and services in diverse work sites specific to a role. Growth in many areas of hospitality and tourism is expected to be good.
