Sunday Night Reminder - May 28, 2023

This is an A week.

There is no school Monday, May 29, in honor of Memorial Day.

Seniors – important info!

If you have an NFA-loaned Chromebook, you will need to turn in the Chromebook and power supply prior to graduation. If you do not turn in the NFA Chromebook and power supply before graduation, you will be charged $275. Chromebooks and power supplies can be dropped off at the library during senior final exams week. Chromebooks and power supplies will also be collected at the senior breakfast in Tirrell and at graduation rehearsal in Bradlaw on June 8.

Secondly, your NFA email account will be deleted on June 30. You can use Google Takeout to download any data from your Google Drive prior to this date. If you are using your NFA account as an email address for services such as FAFSA, please change your primary email address to another account.

More info for Seniors

First and foremost, graduation rehearsal on June 8 is mandatory. If you don’t participate in the rehearsal, you cannot participate in the graduation ceremony. That and all other information about end-of-year events can be found here.

Send a Special Gift to a Senior

Continuing an honored and special tradition, the Class of 2024 would like to extend a wonderful opportunity to send a special message and small gift to a graduating senior. Parents, you have received an earlier email with all of the details you need. Orders must be placed no later than May 30 at 4 pm. If you are interested in honoring multiple seniors, you must complete multiple orders. Thank you for supporting our seniors – and our juniors.

How to request a UConn transcript

To order an official transcript through the Student Administration System follow these steps:
After logging in to https://student.studentadmin.uconn.edu/ navigate to Request Official Transcripts by clicking Main Menu, Self Service and then Student Center. From the Student Center, select the My Academics link. Next to the Transcript header, click Request official transcript. Note: Students with a hold on their record will be unable to request official transcripts. If a hold is present, click the link for details about the hold so steps can be taken to remove it. Next, select your processing options which include: quantity, recipient address and address type. When finished, click the Submit button at the bottom of the screen. A confirmation page displays. Make note of the Request # for future reference.

How to request a transcript from ECSU

Please go to this website.

Enter in your personal (non-Eastern) email. Then continue on with setting up your account by filling in the required spaces. (The boxes with the red asterisks are required. Please make sure to include the last four digits of your Social Security Number!) Once it is set up, you can go about requesting transcripts. Please remember the login information you used so you can request transcripts at any time.

When you are requesting your transcript to be sent and are at the screen that says, “Where Would You Like Your Document(s) Sent?”, do not use the Search box; rather use the blue link under that search box that says “I’m sending to myself or another individual.” That way you can type in the exact email address or mailing address you want the transcript to go to. Please note: For an unofficial copy of your transcript- please request a copy to be emailed to yourself. You will receive it within 24 hours.

Return Your Library Books!

All library books not returned before Friday, May 26, are officially overdue and will be entered into PowerSchool as student debt. Save yourself the trouble, and please return your library books to the Edwin H. Land Library before the senior class trip and Celebrate NFA Day.
