The FAFSA stands for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and is the one of the only ways you can qualify for money to pay for college or career training.

No matter what your plan is for after NFA, we encourage every senior to complete the FAFSA, if eligible. Not only can you qualify for scholarships and grants, but you can also qualify for lower interest rate loans to help pay for school.

If you are interested in taking advantage of the PACT Program, which offers free tuition for first-time college students at any Connecticut community college, you are REQUIRED to complete the FAFSA before July 15.

Many schools and programs have priority deadlines for completing the FAFSA coming up in February, so the sooner you can complete, the better.  *Important Tip* In order to receive Connecticut aid money, you need to list a Connecticut college or program in the first sport on your application.
