New kick-off time for annual NFA-New London football game
As a reminder, the 158th meeting between New London and Norwich Free Academy is scheduled for 1:30 pm on Wednesday, November 27. We are expecting a large crowd for the game, so please be sure to give yourself ample time to arrive, park and make your way through admission in order to enjoy the game!
Special Assemblies - TODAY - Tues., Nov. 26 -- Rohan Murphy Inspires with A“No Excuses” Attitude
“Rohan Murphy, lost his legs at birth. He started to wrestle in his freshman year of high school. After high school he went on to wrestle at Penn State University. Murphy is also an accomplished powerlifter, competing as a USA representative n international competitions all over the world.
ABC’s 20/20, Sports Illustrated and Muscle & Fitness Magazine, among many others have featured Murphy. He was even featured in a Nike commercial to motivate people to exercise and live a healthy lifestyle.
Now Rohan Murphy is a professional motivational speaker. His whole life is dedicated to motivating others through his action and his gripping life story of adversity, dedication, and life with purpose. (Information from roahnmurphy.com)

Holiday Book Drive
The NFA Library is hosting our annual Holiday Children's Book Drive starting Monday, December 2 through Monday, December 16. Books for children of all ages (Birth through age 18) are needed for the recipients of the Norwich local food pantry, who cannot afford holiday gifts to give their own children. Please give a new book to help a child. Donation Book Boxes will be in each of the House Offices, and in the Library.

Playshop Auditions for NFA’s Spring Musical - “A Chorus Line”

NFA's Newest Club - "Calm on Campus"
Beginning 2:30- 3:15 p.m, Mon., Dec. 2, in the Slater Museum's Cast Gallery, Ms. Walling will host a weekly gathering to discuss, listen, and practice the skills of living in less stress and feeling more authentic. School stress, family stress and health worries are some of the topics to discuss. Take time to care for yourself positively, and learn to understand how you live day-to-day, and practice techniques to counter unwelcome feelings and actions.

Norwich Late Bus
Norwich students who wish to use after-school late bus service on Mon, Tues & Thurs. must have a red, signed permission slip from the Student Affairs Office to board the bus. Without a signed permission slip, you will not be allowed to board the bus. Please sign-up in the Student Affairs office each day you wish to take the late bus. If you have questions, see Ms. Howe.
Preston Late Bus
Preston students who wish to use the after-school late bus must sign up for the bus in the morning in the Student Affairs Office in Tirrell. If you do not sign up, you will not be allowed to ride the bus.
