Join Project Outreach, 5-8 p.m., Mon., Dec. 10 for a Community Caroling Event at local shelters and residential facilities.
Meet in the Project Outreach Room for pizza first. Please bring one unwrapped toy that night for the bus company’s toy drive. Limited the first 30 students to sign up. Sign-up by Fri., Dec. 7. Permission slips are required.
Pet Supply Drive
Support NFA Animal Advocates Club with a donation of pet food, toys, and other supplies. Bring donations to the dog house boxes in each House Office before Fri., Dec. 21.
Annual Black College Tour
April 14-19 (Spring Break). Open to all students - accepting applications until filled.
Visit Howard University, Morgan State, NC A&T State, Winston Salem State, Shaw University and UNC (Chapel Hill).
Cost - $325 (includes transportation and hotels.) $100 deposit required. Visit the Diversity Department for an application and more information.

FREE Fishing Trip

Book Drive Through Fri., Dec. 14
The Library is collecting new or almost new books that children (ages 0-18) could receive as presents this holiday season. Drop off books at the Edwin H. Land Library or in any house office.
Spring Musical Auditions
Auditions for "Urinetown" are 2:30-4:30 p.m., Tue., Dec. 18 in the choir room (8260). Students may leave following their audition. Callbacks are 2:30-4:30 p.m., Wed., Dec. 19. Students must stay for the duration of callbacks.

FOR SENIORS ONLY- FREE Dining in the Brickview
Enjoy delicious, student-created entrees and outstanding customer service in the Brickview. Check in with Ms. Martin in the Bradlaw House Office on Tuesdays and Thursdays before 10 am. If student reservations are remaining, you can sign up and receive a Brickview invitation to eat for FREE that day (good for you and a "plus one").
You can not sign up other students, and you can not make a reservation for a future date.

Attention Seniors: In early 2019, we will be placing the order for your cap and gown. At that time you will also confirm the spelling of your legal name for your diploma. Participation in the June graduation ceremony requires the wearing of the traditional cap, gown, and tassel.
The cost of your graduation cap and gown has been added to your Power School account in the amount of $29. Payment must be made by April 30, 2019. You may bring payment to Ms. Martin in the Bradlaw Office at any time before April 30. Payment may be made by cash, money order, or check payable to NFA. Those students on free or reduced lunch may see their guidance counselors for financial assistance.
2019 New England Red Sox Service Scholarship Program
$1,000 scholarship awarded to a graduating high school senior based on 1. Demonstrated For those pursuing a two or four-year degree at any college, or university in the fall of 2019.

Lost and Found
Lost items found on campus are sent to Project Outreach - Room 7101 (except electronics). Electronic items are sent to Campus Safety. Check with PO more than once if you have lost something. Label your belongings - labeled items are easy to return.
Wildcat LOFT Seeking Volunteers
Wildcat LOFT is a clothing/food pantry open to all students. Volunteers organize, record, and help other students looking for items. Apply with Mrs. Kutia in the Diversity Office, Converse 6115, or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.

FREE After School Snack and Dinner
A free Grab-and-Go Snack is available to all NFA Students from 2:10-2:30 p.m. each day in the cafeteria.
Free dinner is available from 4 - 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, in the back cafeteria for all NFA students age 18 and younger. The dinner complies with Connecticut State meal requirements. Students sign in to participate and eat dinner in the cafeteria. No grab-and-go or takeout.
