As we build up to Homecoming, it’s Spirit Week! Here’s the rundown -- and be sure to check our Instagram stories each day, too.
  • Tuesday -- Class Color Wars (9th: plaid; 10th: white; 11th: shades of blue; 12th: black
  • Wednesday -- Sports Day -- wear your favorite team, sport, event or athlete
  • Thursday -- Fall Theme -- flannel, cozy, pumpkin themed
  • Friday -- NFA Day -- let’s see your best NFA gear or red and white outfit

VOTE NOW for your Homecoming Court!

Voting for the 2021 Homecoming Court begins Sunday, October 10 at midnight, and runs through Friday, October 15 at midnight. Look for the voting ballot under the Notices & Updates section of your student portal dashboard.

Homecoming tickets are on sale!
 
Don’t wait. Get your homecoming celebration tickets today! Buy your tickets in the Tirrell Lobby before school and in the cafeteria during the lunch waves. Tickets are $10 and will be on sale through Wednesday. You must have your ID to purchase a ticket. You may purchase one additional ticket, but you will need that person’s name and ID number in order to do it. For more information about Homecoming, click here. Dress to impress if you wish. Intramurals are back!
 
Badminton
 
Join us November 2, 9, 16 and 23, from 2:15 to 3 pm in Norton Gym for Badminton! All students are welcome, but, in order to participate, you must register through FamilyID under Athletic Conditioning 2021-2022.
 
Ultimate Frisbee and Disc Golf Tournament
 
Join us Friday, October 29, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on the Turf Field for an Ultimate Frisbee and Disc Golf Tournament. You must sign up through FamilyID under Athletic Conditioning for 2021-2022.
 
Wildcat Basketball League (WBL)
 
Join our intramural basketball group -- the Wildcat Basketball League.We’ll host drills, skills and conditioning October 12 and 14 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Then, on October 19 and 21, we’ll work to establish teams before Opening Night on October 26. Student scorekeepers and timers are needed, too.

Photo retake day is October 14
 
Photo retakes will occur Thursday, October 14, in the Beech Tree Lounge. This is for all new students, those who lost their ID or never had their ID photo taken. Photos will take place until 3:30 pm. Questions? Contact Mrs. Howe at howel@nfaschool.org.
 
Ice Skating Club, 10/12
 
Join us for the first meeting and information session for the Ice Skating Club. The meeting is Tuesday, October 12, at 2:30 in room 7137. 
 
Spanish Honor Society, 10/12
 
The Spanish Honor Society will meet Tuesday, October 12, at 2:15 pm in 7336. 
 
Walking Club, 10/12
 
If you like to be outdoors, enjoy conversation and want to develop a more active lifestyle, the Walking Club is for YOU! Join us Tuesday, October 12, at 2:20 pm in room 6102 for our kick-off meeting where we will take a stroll and discuss what we want to accomplish with our club this year. Everyone is welcome. French Club, 10/13 (new date!)
 
The first meeting of the French Club will take place Wednesday, October 12 from 2:20 to 3 or 3:15 pm in room 7237. We’ll discuss upcoming activities, possible field trips (if allowed) and movies. 
 
Gender and Sexuality Alliance, 10/14
 
The Gender & Sexuality Alliance will have its first meeting, Thursday, October 14, at 2:15 in Mrs. Bishop's room (3127). Anyone in the NFA community is welcome to attend. Please bring your ideas. The GSA will be student-centered and powered!
 
Girls Golf, 10/14
