This week features our regular hybrid learning schedule with Cohort A on campus Monday and Tuesday and Cohort B on campus Thursday and Friday. Thursday, February 25, will be an early release day for students.
AP test registration -- deadline tomorrow!
Please click here AP Test Registration to complete the registration form. The deadline to register is February 22. Late registration will not be accepted. You must register for all AP tests that you plan to take.
Seal of Biliteracy testing
Attention, seniors: If you indicated interest in testing for the Seal of Biliteracy, be on the lookout for an email tomorrow. That will include all the details you need to know about the testing process for this year. The deadline to respond to Mrs. Crooks is Friday, February 26.
Mobile Food Pantry distribution this Thursday
The United Way of Southeastern Connecticut will be hosting a drive thru mobile food pantry Thursday, February 25, beginning at 3:30 pm (until food runs out) at the Rose City Senior Center on Mahan Drive. More information can be found here.

Yearbooks on sale! Price goes up tomorrow!

Community art project

PSAT and SAT coming up!
NFA will offer the PSAT to all 10th graders on Wednesday, March 3, and the SAT to all 11th graders on Wednesday, March 24. Students will come to campus on those days for testing. If you have more questions, contact your student’s counselor.
Our Student Advisory Board will again be supporting an upcoming blood drive in Norwich. The drive will be held Friday, March 19, from 8 am to 6 pm at the Holiday Inn in Norwich. To schedule an appointment for after school, call 800-733-2767. Or, go online to redcrossblood.org and use the code EpicNorwich. Those who give will receive a free tee shirt while supplies last.
Red and white days return
Each Tuesday and Friday will be a Red and White Day! Show off your school spirit and wear your best NFA colors. We look forward to seeing your Wildcat Pride!
Virtual college fair is March 10
Tenth and eleventh graders will receive information soon about participating in our virtual college fair Wednesday, March 10. More than 100 colleges are signed up to participate!
NFA Foundation now accepting applications for Deglin Scholarship
The NFA Foundation is now accepting applications for the Sam and Randy Deglin Art & Noise Scholarship, established by the friends and classmates of Samantha and Randy Deglin. To apply, students are asked to submit an original creative piece revealing artistic ability through the written word, the performance of a dramatic or musical piece or works of visual art. Cat Shack help wanted!
We are gearing up for Semester 2 in the Cat Shack and we need student employees! If you are in Cohort A or B and have F channel study hall, please stop by Mr. Legnos' room (6102) or Mrs. Farinha's office (8106) to pick up an application. Or, you can email Mr. Legnos at LegnosK@nfaschool.org to let him know you are interested. This is a great way to get involved on campus, get work experience and qualify for Cat Shack scholarships!

As a reminder, our Virtual Calming Room remains open! It’s a place for students, families and staff members to find tools and strategies for managing emotions and feelings. Turn to this space when you need a break, or just want to spend some time rejuvenating.
