Sunday Night Reminder - January 9, 2022
Monday, January 10, begins an E week with Wednesday classes E-H.
Thursday, January 13, and Friday, January 14, are early release days for students. So, too, are Tuesday, January 18, and Wednesday, January 19.
There is no school Monday, January 17, in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The second semester starts Thursday, January 20.
We appreciate your patience dealing with issues surrounding our website this week. Our third-party vendor, who serves thousands of schools across the country, dealt with an unanticipated network issue beginning Tuesday, January 4. The site, while not fully restored visually, has most, if not all, of its main functionality back – including the student, parent and faculty portal areas. This will continue to improve over the next day or so. We appreciate your continued patience and we will put an update on social media when the site is fully restored.
If you see something, say something
Wildcats, we are a family, and we are all in this together. If you see something suspicious or hear something suspicious, please reach out to a trusted adult -- a teacher, counselor, coach or member of our campus safety team. We are strong individually, but even stronger together.
Students, if you haven't done so, please download the STOPit app to your phone. You can find STOPit for both iOS and Android. Once you've downloaded it, installation is easy. Just search for Norwich Free Academy, select your class and you are good to go. There are no codes to enter! STOPit is a fully anonymous app where you can report any type of behavior or actions that warrant attention from an adult.
Two examples when you should stay home
There are two scenarios when students should not be coming to school. First, if you are experiencing any COVID symptoms, stay home. Second, please do not come to school if you are awaiting the results of a COVID test. Thank you for your cooperation.
