Here are some important things to remember during this challenging time.
Free Food Available
A reminder that free grab-and-go meals are available to anyone from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm Monday through Friday. Pick up is on the side of Tirrell. Come each day to pick up lunch and breakfast the next day. No questions asked. Other sites and times for meal pick up is available here.
Interim Learning Opportunities
A number of resources, including a recommended daily schedule, can be found here. This page will be updated frequently, so check back regularly to see what’s new.
Campus is Closed
With the exception of grab-and-go meal pick up, campus is currently closed to the public. Campus Safety and other staff are currently there each day, but, overall, it is closed to the public -- including the track.
Getting out of the house for fresh air is a good thing, but please be mindful of social distancing. Stay at least six feet away from others.
Try to get 20 to 30 minutes of basic cardio activity a day. Enjoy a walk or a light jog. Walk from one telephone pole to another, and then jog to the next one. Repeat that pattern for 20-30 minutes and you’ll keep a fresh mind about you. Remember, use the sidewalk if possible. Walk or run during the day, and wear bright colors.
We will post more exercise programs on the wellness tab of the Interim Learning Opportunities page tomorrow.
We Are NFA
Through this unprecedented time, one thing is clear. We Are NFA. Keep an eye on our social media feeds this week for an example of how we can stay together through this and show #WeAreNFA.
