How can I get involved?

Remain in good standing with attendance, behavior, grades and credits.
During 10th & 11th grade:
-
Attend information sessions and field trips to learn more about healthcare careers during 10th & 11th grade.
During 11th grade:
-
Complete the CNA Application.

Applications open in November and will be posted HERE.

Take English and Math entrance assessments.
During 12th grade:
-
Attend CNA classes at CT State Community College at Three Rivers (105 hours).

Complete clinical hours at local nursing home

Senior Seminar coursework .
-
Take Medical Interpreter practicum and ProMetric Nurse’s Aide competency exam for certification on CT CNA Registry.

How do I enroll?
- Click here to fill out the CNA application - deadline December 12, 2024
- Successfully pass the TRCC Math and English
- Comprehension pre-assessment
- Be on track with credits towards graduation
- Be in good standing with attendance and discipline
- Take Senior Seminar during the 12th grade (1/2 credit)
