Financial Aid

What is FAFSA?

The FAFSA stands for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and is the one of the only ways you can qualify for money to pay for college or career training.

No matter what your plan is for after NFA, every senior is required to complete the FAFSA, if eligible. Not only can you qualify for scholarships and grants, but you can also qualify for lower interest rate loans to help pay for school.
Many schools and programs have priority deadlines for completing the FAFSA in February, so the sooner you can complete, the better.  *Important Tip* In order to receive Connecticut aid money, you need to list a Connecticut college or program in the first sport on your application.
